Physical exams performed by the veterinarian

A physical exam is recommended for every healthy pet at least once a year. Puppies, geriatric pets, and pets with chronic diseases benefit from biannual exams, as part of their preventive care schedule.

A physical exam is also recommended if you believe your pet is sick, either with new symptoms or if your pet has a chronic disease and is not feeling well.

We recommend bringing in any medical history, including vaccination history, for your pet on your first visit. From there, our veterinarians will work closely with you to determine a schedule for care, including any necessary treatments or preventive care.

Our team’s top priorities are to treat our patients and to help educate our clients regarding all aspects of pet health and preventative care. We have assembled a caring team of veterinary professionals to bring you the best possible care for your pet. Our doctors and staff are knowledgeable and compassionate. When your pet is being examined by the doctor, you can stay with your pet in the exam room if you would like. We prioritize good communication with our clients, so being present during the physical exam allows you to ask questions and receive the best education regarding your pet’s condition.

Exams are available as scheduled appointments or walk-ins during our business hours.

New! We now see walk-in appointments all day, if our doctors are available. You don’t have to wait if your pet needs care. We will do our best to accommodate a same-day appointment for your pet.
